More About Life With Nanny and Christine Tipton
Well, here it is. Life With Nanny is back up and running. As many know, the site was thrown offline a bit ago when the previous host cancelled their own site. So, now - with a great deal of help from a wonderfully dedicated woman - Ms. Glenda Propst of NAN - Life With Nanny is making its comeback.
This past year has been a busy one - for everyone I'm sure. Joey and I have had a year filled with lots of changes. For those of you who know me, you'll remember that 1999 was the year that my life changed dramatically. First I moved from California to Texas in January. I started a new job with a wonderful family here, and then Joey and I went back to California to get married on September 18th. I got to visit Tennessee for the first time when Joey and I drove there to visit with his parents and extended family for Thanksgiving. It's amazing how beautiful Tennessee is :). For Christmas, we drove to Joey's sister's house and we had the best Christmas. It was the first time I've spent the holiday away from my family, but Joey's family really made the day :). New Year's has been good so far. We've found no Y2K bugs investing our house *grin*. Let's hope the rest of the year is just as nice.
For all of you who remember the guestbook trouble I've been having, I've taken it offline temporarily so that no one else gets as frustrated with it as I've been. I'm planning on having it back up as soon as possible.
I am looking for information from those of you with support groups, whether they're online or in person; conferences that such support groups are having; favorite websites; and any additional information that you all think worthy of being shared with others with the same interests. I am always looking for articles and stories written by nannies and parents - for nannies and parents. If anyone wishes to submit something, write to me at the link below and I'll send you the pertinent information.
Please remember that since it's been quite awhile since I could truly put enough time into this site, it's going to take awhile to straighten it all up. If you send me mail, I'll respond as soon as I possibly can. At the least, mail is checked once every week - usually on Saturdays when I have time to answer them all.
