Parent's Corner

Parents, this page is for you.

We have sections dedicated to:

  • Humorous but True Stories
  • From the Mouths of Babes
  • Question and Answer Forum - Parents and nannies ask and answer questions from other parents and nannies. Please check out our newest questions and contribute your answers.
  • Parent Support Groups I have yet been unable to find a listing anywhere of Parent Support groups. So, the presence of this section is dependant upon you folks informing us of any support groups in your area. Hopefully, we will be able to get a pretty thorough listing on this page.
  • Poetry - a compilation of some of my favorite pieces of work. Feel free to submit your favorites, or original works.

When I saw this poem, I just had to place it here on this page. It's just beautiful. I found it on a newsgroup called 'alt.childcare' but whoever posted it to the newsgroup got it from a newsletter from Kidbits (you can find this site on our Helpful Links page).

There are two to wash, two to dry
Two who argue and two who cry
One’s in the mud, having a ball
The other holds a crayon, marking the wall.
Some days seem endless, my patience grows thin
Why was I chosen to be a mother of twins?
The answer comes clear at the end of the day
As I tuck them in bed and to myself say,
"There’s two to kiss and two to hug
And best of all ~ there’s two to love!
